Fit is specific to the piece. Start with its product description and any published garment measurements, then consider how you want to wear it.
Compare with a piece you own
Use a similar garment that already fits well. Lay it flat and compare the same measurement points using the method stated in the size guide. Body measurements and garment measurements are different.
Read the fit notes
Terms such as relaxed and oversized describe an intended silhouette. They are not a universal instruction to size up or down. Check the individual product before choosing.
Between sizes?
If measurements or fit details are missing, ask the studio with the product name, your usual size and preferred fit. Automated size suggestions are estimates and cannot guarantee how a garment will fit.
